We arrived last December in Grenada and have enjoyed a wonderful sailing season. For the first time, we started in the southern Caribbean and really enjoyed these Windward islands, even more so than the Leeward ones up to the north. The true flavor of the Caribbean is to be found in the south still and the people are warm and friendly. We've posted about our experiences at most of them over the course of the winter months but now it's time to document a bit of the path we followed to arrive up here at the BVI's.
As the season comes to a close for us, the passage back to Europe will begin in a few days. We've already got our plans in place for a return here next season to see even more new islands.
