Onboard 'Kiboko', a Southern Wind Shipyard 94RS performance cruising yacht participating in the Loro Piana 2012 Superyacht Regatta in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. A life altering experience if ever there was. If you ever get an invitation to be 'ballast' for a regatta, don't pass it up! Being on the water surrounded by Maxi Yachts competing in a race is something not to miss if given the opportunity and Porto Cervo is a spectacular place to do it in.

We were smokin' along at one point at 18 knots! Fantastic! The parties and BBQ's on the beach at night just added to the enjoyment. What a terrific experience! Would love to participate again someday...
