This was a tough place to find an anchorage as the water was shallow in so many places but we finally located a suitable spot for the night and rested well in preparation for our push on to Cadiz. It's unfortunate we were only there for the night as apparently, the City of Faro is well worth a visit.
We've been this way twice now. Once with our Hallberg-Rassy 54 in 2011 and now with the Swan 58 in 2026. Both times, we were on our way to the Mediterranean and decided to not spend more than a night at anchor here. Perhaps with the next yacht we'll stay long enough to see the town (ha)!
