Anchorage at Vallö, Sweden

After a great day of 'champagne sailing' in 15 kts of wind and flat seas we arrived at Vallö , a bay we had picked out for a one night stopover. It's a good thing as the mosquitos were brutal and it was all we could do to keep them out of the yacht! We were the only yacht anchored there and apparently everyone else got the memo about the mosquitos except us! However we were positioned nicely now to begin our passage further south toward Kalmar where we had an appointment with a Volvo service center to do the initial oil change and service for us on our engine.
