Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual

I'm a pretty technical guy and enjoy 'getting my hands dirty' so learning about the systems on-board a yacht is fun for me. This book has a lot of good, basic information about taking care of the engine, generator, watermaker, etc. Obviously the technical manuals that come with your yacht will be the authority on maintenance schedules and repairs but this is a good read for anyone to start with.
